Check out our party balloons selection for the very best in unique or custom

Have you got a special occasion coming up? Perhaps it’s a Birthday, Baby Shower, Retirement or Wedding? Or a Christening, Communion or Confirmation? Whatever the occasion is, if you’re throwing a party then you’ve come to the right place. When you’re starting off it can be confusing trying to navigate the world of party decorations and supplies, but don’t worry – we are here to guide you through everything you need to throw a fabulous party, whatever the occasion.

Party Balloons are always a good idea. Balloons are synonymous with parties, and as soon as a guest sees a balloon they know they are in the right place. They fill a venue with colour and really enhance party decoration. Party balloons are available in every colour of the rainbow, so you’re sure to find a combination to match your theme perfectly. They are also available printed for every type of occasion you could imagine. So if you have your wife’s 30th Birthday approaching, you could choose a pink balloon printed with “30”. Or if you have a friend who is going traveling why not get them a ‘Bon Voyage’ balloon? You can also personalise balloons with your own message to make them extra special. Choosing a theme or colour scheme is a good place to start.

Traditionally, balloons conform to pink for a girl and blue for a boy but you absolutely don’t have to stick to this. Whatever colour you choose, selecting complementary colours to match will really look the part. For example, if you choose a pink ‘Christening Day’ Balloon, a purple and a white balloon tied onto it will compliment it perfectly. Tying together two or three balloons looks much better than choosing one balloon alone and this will make for a beautiful table centre piece.

Party Balloons are available in two materials; Latex and Foil. Latex balloons are traditional and can look beautiful, however it is worth considering how long you would like the balloons to last as latex balloons last one day only before shrinking down. Foil balloons last much longer, and can really stand out in a room as they are generally larger and shiny. Whichever you choose, the next thing to consider is whether you would like to fill your balloons with air or helium. Helium allows balloons to float so they can be tied to a weight, but this will cost you extra so it is worth considering how you would like to place your balloons.

There are lots of other party supplies to add to your balloons to complete the look. Once you have selected your balloon colours, it will be easy to match the other accessories. Party Banners are a great party decoration and there are lots to choose from. Like balloons, there are banners printed with messages to suit every occasion but you can also choose a personalised banner. Lastly - confetti adds a nice touch to the tables at any party and is available in lots of styles.

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without Santa Claus, and Santa Claus costumes are unsurprisingly very popular. The very recognizable figure in red stands out and epitomizes Christmas, and who doesn’t love Santa Claus? There are lots of costumes available to suit every budget, from cheap and cheerful right up to the professional suit. There are also variations on the traditional suit, such as Mrs Claus costumes, and sexy Santa for both men and women. The famous hat is enough on its own for people to instantly register as Christmas so if you don’t want to go all out, you could choose a more subtle option.

Santa Claus couldn’t do what he does without his helpers of course, and next up in popularity are Elf Costumes. Popularized by Christmas movies, Elves are a popular Christmas Costume as they have a sense of mischief about them. There are so many options available as an Elf is interpreted in lots of different ways, but generally you’ll find combinations of green and red with pointy features. They are a versatile option as like Santa Costumes, adding a pointy hat or shoes, or a touch of blush to your cheeks and nose can create the look. If you want to go a step further, pointy ears and bells attached to your outfit will have you looking like head elf in an instant. As with Santa Costumes, there are also sexy elf variations if you are heading out for a night on the town.

There are other Christmas Costumes too if you want something a little more unique but still recongisable as Christmas. Snowmen are a good choice, and if you’re very creative you could give making your own a try. Reindeers, or specifically Rudolph, is also an option for a great Christmas costume. Or if you prefer the traditional Christmas, you could opt for a Nativity costume such as Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Angel Gabriel, a Shepherd or a Wiseman. Now all that’s left is to go and spread some Christmas cheer!
